ABOUT US
We are a boutique dance coaching studio, providing small class sizes in order to give our students the attention they deserve. We care about your child’s progress and are grateful to be able to be a part of your dancing journey! Dance Coaching Australia provides weekly group coaching sessions for tiny tots, recreational, elite and adult dancers. As a coaching studio (not a traditional dance school) with no annual recital, students focus on skill development year-round.

Learning an art form such as dance takes commitment over many years. Our studio nurtures students’ love of dance whilst reinforcing important values and skills such as commitment, perseverance, teamwork, problem solving and resilience as students realise the health benefits of staying active. Attending Dance Coaching Australia will likely become a highlight of the week, a beautiful place to act, belong, commit and make lifelong friends.
Why let the kids have all the fun? Adult ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap and contemporary classes are available with the option to work towards exams. It's never too late to start dance, book a casual drop-in class and give it a go!
Our focus is on providing safe, developmentally appropriate and technical dance training whilst ensuring classes are enjoyable and nurture students' passion for dance. Our teachers are committed to our dancers health and longevity in the industry and stay updated on evolving best practices to minimise the risk of injury and ensure movement efficiency is maximised. This is why at Dance Coaching Australia, dancers spend time developing adequate strength, flexibility, train both sides of the body equally and work to understand and develop correct alignment.

ELEVATE is a unique way for our students to study a national qualification through us, Dance Coaching Australia, and Empowerdance Pty Ltd RTO 40397. We are thrilled to be an approved provider with Empowerdance where our students can use the classes they participate in with us toward their Certificate.

Each week Empowerdance master trainers conduct our theory classes for our students via an online classroom platform and then all of their theory assessments are uploaded and completed through the online portal, which students will have access to, using their own log in.
Certificate III and IV students will have the opportunity to work alongside one of our dance teachers to gain valuable experience for some of their student teaching and teaching units. Students will also work alongside their peers for group assessments, and the nature of these qualifications allows the student to have flexibility with their learning and be marked as competent or not yet competent.
